Tesoro Jewellery- Rose Gold Earrings

Anyone who has been around me in the past few weeks has heard about these newly released Tesoro earrings. I actually can’t stop gushing about them. I love anything rose gold and these stunning earrings have made my month!

These rose gold earrings give any woman a feeling of elegance and sophistication. They are perfect for any formal function as well as a dressy day in the office. Hmm... did I mention how they physically feel? The earrings are lightweight and smooth to the touch. The two separate parts of the earrings offer a point of difference in the market with a contrast between silver and rose gold.

Australian Organic Awareness Month- Are you aware?

This September is Australian Organic Awareness Month #AOAM, which is a celebration of all Certified organic products bearing the Australian Certified Organic logo.
“Australian Organic has over 14,000 brands currently holding their certified organic bud logo; and this is not just food it is also wine, baby food, pet products, gardening, beauty, skin care, clothing, textiles and more! I have found some Certified Organic Beauty Products that I am excited to share with you. If you are sitting there thinking, why should I use organic skincare products over ‘normal’ products, the answer is simple… It’s all about using products, which are kind to your body as well as the environment.

Let’s Talk Business: Laura Lana Creative

Laura LanaCreative was established to assist Australian designers with creative ideas for their brand. The company has worked with brands like 17 Sunday’s, a plus size brand, and a menswear label Hew. They are constantly working with new emerging designers.

The director of the company, Laura, works with brands to improve their current operations in the design sector to help them stand out from the crowd. Laura does this by assisting with mood boards and colour schemes while also providing trend forecasting for the next season to keep designers ahead. Laura maintains long-term relationships with all of the brands she works with inspiring new ideas and dreams whilst fitting in with all of the existing processes and team.

“My experience in this fast paced industry saw creativity and originality get lost amongst demanding deadlines and high volume ranges.”

Laura has previously worked as a designer in the commercial fashion industry and discovered a key downfall in the fashion industry whereby brands were not focusing on the design process, which she believes is a key aspect to success.

“It inspired a business idea; to create an outlet that assists businesses fill any gaps and focus on areas within the creative process that tend to get neglected.”

As with content marketing raising brand performance, the creative design process is the equivalent in fashion design. Originality in Australian fashion is something which is lacking and that is why it is important to invest in the design process.

Spundies- Changing the world of Undies one pair at a time

I have found the new #1 item that every woman must have in their handbags.

Having ‘Spundies’, aka a spare pair ‘a undies in my bag last week at the gym would have been priceless.

The same can be said for that teenager who suddenly had her first period at school and the businesswoman on a delayed flight changeover.

And, of course, the situation that first sparked the idea for Spundies, “We were on a girl’s night out,” said product creator and founder, Bianca Pillon, “and my girlfriend was faced with an exciting proposition for an unexpected sleepover.”
“I also had another friend who was a new mum, laughed too hard and well, I think you can imagine why she needed Spundies too!”
These lovable panties have even been featured on The Living Room television show, loved by the host, Amanda Keller.

Spundies literally have you covered for any of life’s embarrassing or awkward situations. They come in a cute, credit card size tin, which can fit into your clutch or wallet or pocket— how convenient is that!

Review: Carmex Lip Balm

Okay, so I’m not over exaggerating when I say that every girl needs a trustworthy lip balm that they can turn leave in the bathroom for every morning, keep on their desk at work and have on their bedside table for before they go to sleep.

Carmex is a long-standing favourite in the lip balm category. I have always seen their products in their iconic yellow and red packaging and associated it with the ‘tingle’ sensation. I remember using the small tub throughout my childhood. This iconic favourite definitely doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

The Limited Edition Pot
So my first experiment was the Carmex tub… except this time it had a little twist, which I absolutely loved. And that was the limited edition leopard print packaging. I think I have mentioned before that I am a leopard print girl; so needless to say, this design was my favourite.

I really love the scent, I would describe it as a slight combination of vanilla and mint. The lip tingle was really noticeable as soon as I applied it, and it lasted me a couple of hours. The texture is smooth and creamy.
